These pictures are in reverse, oh well.
We had a little Easter egg hunt for the grand kids. The kids looked out the window into the backyard and said, "The Easter bunny didn't stop by!' We told them that he probably had but he's hid the eggs really well. Actually we hid them in the 'front yard'! They were so cute hunting the eggs. Adelaide was a little shy. Tilly stopped to 'snack' on her goodies. LaRue made a 'haul'! We hid 96 plastic eggs for 6 kids. When they were done we had them come into the house and divided them up so that each had '16' eggs. They were so good about it! The Easter bunny had slips in some of the eggs. They said: ' Grandma would play a game with them; make something in the kitchen with them, read them a bed time story, etc.' We tried to honor those the best we could.
We have an island of a sort for our kitchen. You look over the counter out into the living room. The kids have a blast running through the kitchen and breakfast area and around the edge of the living room, over to the front entry and through the dining area and back through the kitchen. They squeal with glee and laughter! It can get quite loud at times but they have so much fun running and chasing each other! Their big smiles says it all!
The night before Julie and her kids left, Zachary went up to grandpa and asked, 'Grandpa, can we play with your train?' Well of course grandpa set up his small HO train track and a couple little trains and they were in heaven! Brynnly built some LEGO bridges and the boys helped and thought that was great! They had a ball!
Sniff, sob! All our company is gone and we sure miss them all! Lisa and Jordan and their girls and Julie and her kids, all went home. Thanks for coming and brightening our past week!

Oh my heck, they sure did love running around the kitchen counter. I can still hear the screeches:) It was so much fun to see everybody, even though it was WAAAAAAAAYYYYY too short. I'll just have to look forward to the summer I guess!
Cute pictures!
Thanks for letting us take a little vacation chez-vous! We loved getting to spend some great quality time with each of you. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us and showing us a good time ;) We love you and can hardly wait to see you soon!
Sounds like your home was filled with lots of excitement and happiness over Easter. I can clearly hear the screecing and noise running around your kitchen as my boys use to do the same thing at Grandma's house. I love the idea of putting slips into the plastic eggs and getting some special 'Grandma time'- will use that idea for next year!
